Repairs & Rehabilitation Services
When properties suffer damage or deterioration, BigState Asset Management coordinates the necessary repairs and rehabilitation to restore the property’s condition. We address both emergency repairs (such as securing a damaged roof or broken entry door to prevent further damage) and routine repairs (such as fixing a leaky plumbing line, replacing damaged drywall, or repainting to eliminate graffiti). For minor repairs within allowable cost limits, our preservation crews will complete the work promptly and document it for client approval. For major repairs or hazard claim work, we provide detailed estimates to the client or investor and, upon approval, deploy our network of licensed contractors to perform the work. Examples of repair services include: roof tarping or replacement of missing shingles, structural board-ups and carpentry, plumbing and electrical repairs, HVAC system securing or stabilization, and full rehabilitation or renovation of an REO property to make it marketready. All work is completed to local building code standards and in accordance with investor/insurer guidelines . Necessary permits are pulled for permitted work, and we ensure quality materials are used for durability and safety. Quality benchmarks: repairs are inspected upon completion – either by our internal quality control team or by a third-party as needed – to verify the issue is fully resolved and the workmanship meets or exceeds industry standards. By restoring properties properly, we protect our clients’ collateral value and support higher marketability of the home.
