Securing & Lock Changes

Securing a property is our first priority once it becomes vacant. We promptly re-key all exterior locks to the appropriate key code (for example, HUD/FHA key codes for government-insured loans) to ensure only authorized access . Our team secures all doors, windows, and entry points – installing padlocks or deadbolts, and boarding up broken windows or other openings as needed to prevent unauthorized entry. During the initial secure, we also perform a thorough inspection of the property’s condition and occupancy status, documenting any visible damage or urgent issues. Quality benchmarks include verifying that every access point is fully secured and posting emergency contact notices, with photographic documentation to confirm the property is properly protected. An initial secure inspection report is provided to the client for their records.
